Bitly App Store

Eye-catching Visuals That Guide Users to Their ‘Download Now' Moments

In 2022, Bitly partnered with Canva to launch a marketplace integration, enabling users to seamlessly incorporate Bitly’s short links and QR codes into their designs.

Following our Data

Bitly x Canva

This collaboration was driven by the insight that many Canva users were already manually adding short links and QR codes to assets like posters, business cards, signage, and flyers. Our goal was to align our product offering with global climate trends showing feature adoptions for Bitly tools.

Hypothesis Driven Design

Canva Integration Partnership

We believe we will enhance Canva’s app store engagement by showcasing how Bitly’s QR codes can revolutionize real estate marketing.

The goal is to create graphics that show the potential of this collaboration for real estate professionals across US and global tail winds for companies and agents.

Testing and Results

Unlocking Real Estate Marketing Potential with Bitly and Canva

Because the app store was saturated with QR codes, I created an A/B/C hypothesis test with our product marketing lead to include humans + industry topics (real estate) to our hero card graphic.

Customer Growth

The strategic integration of Bitly’s tools into Canva’s ecosystem led to a significant increase in Bitly Basic/Pro accounts. Our B test showed most success with UXR seeing this as best onward.

Engagement Impact

“Use in design” connections within Canva, showcasing the seamless integration of Bitly’s features. We trended 400 daily plugin adds using this industry theme of real estate + faces vs just a QR code icon.

Testimonial

Tiffany Fowell – Content Marketing Manager, Bitly

I had the pleasure of working closely with Edison at Bitly, where he always brought creative solutions and finesse to our projects.

He was a go-to teammate, always willing to jump in and help, and his energy had a positive impact on our team and culture. Collaborating with Edison was easy and fun, and his attention to detail made everything he worked on so much better. Any team would be lucky to have him.
